Students who attend colleges and universities in Southern California are eligible for LBSO’s fantastic College Connection program. Under this program, students may purchase a $35 Student Pass, which includes:
- Admission to all six Classics concerts, plus the opening Orchestra POPS! Concert
- Invitation to the Open House Party/Open Rehearsal: Friday, Jan 20, 2012
- The opportunity to exchange email correspondence with LBSO musicians
An important element of the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to bring high-quality music to students throughout the Southern California community. In commitment to this program, LBSO offers access to their rich and unique musical events to young adults on a college-student budget. Any full-time student with a valid college ID is eligible for College Connection.

Students seeking first-hand experiences in arts management may apply for LBSO’s College Coordinator positions, in which students act as liaisons between the Orchestra and students at educational and religious institutions throughout the greater Long Beach area. Students will work closely with LBSO staff to spread the word about College Connection while gaining valuable tools for a career in arts administration.
