The Long Beach Symphony Association is committed to protecting your privacy. Our formal privacy policy is intended to describe how your personal information is processed and used. We’ll make every effort to ensure that our Website-related activities are in keeping with the spirit of this privacy policy. Please note that by visiting and using www.lbso.org, you’re accepting the practices described in this privacy policy.
> INFORMATION GATHERED
For each visitor to our Website, our server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name. We routinely collect the domain name of visitors to our Website, the e-mail addresses of those who provide it to us or who communicate with us by e-mail, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by consumers, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
> USE OF THIS INFORMATION
The primary purpose of our Website is to provide you with information about the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra (LBSO), not to gather your personal information. If you provide us with your e-mail address, we’ll send you timely notifications about updates to our site as well as LBSO events and promotions. If you supply us with your postal address online, you may receive periodic mailings from us with similar information. If you’d rather not receive such mailings, please let us know by sending us an e-mail to rberry@lbso.org or by calling Rick Berry at 562.436.3203, ext. 233. From time to time we make the postal addresses of those who provide them to us available to other reputable arts organizations we think you might find interesting. If you don’t want us to share your postal address with other companies or organizations, please let us know by e-mail or telephone. With respect to “ad servers,” we DO NOT partner with or provide data to such companies.

> OPTION TO RESTRICT USE OF INFORMATION
If you don’t want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending a clear request to rberry@lbso.org or dialing 562.436.3203, ext. 233. And if you’d prefer that we never share your name and address with other carefully selected arts organizations, use the same contact information to make your wishes known. Please provide us with your exact name and address, and we’ll remove your name from the list we share with other organizations.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers online may receive telephone contact from us with information about upcoming concerts and other LBSO events. If you don’t want to receive such calls, please use the above contact information to inform us. As an important “FYI,” we never share site-visitor telephone numbers with other organizations.
> CHANGES TO USE OF INFORMATION
From time to time we may use visitor information for new, unanticipated purposes not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If this happens at some future point, we’ll contact you before using any personal data to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with a clear “opt out” option. As a general matter, you can prevent any use of your information for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing or calling us.
> WEB-RELATED SECURITY
When we receive and transfer certain types of sensitive data, such as credit-card information for ticket purchases, we redirect visitors to a secure server to enable a safe and efficient transaction. We have “good faith and due diligence” security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we’ve collected from you through our Website our other official LBSO communication channels. We’re deeply committed to keeping your sensitive information safe and secure!
