Patron Information
Concerts begin at 8 pm in the Terrace Theater. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the complimentary Concert Previews begin at 7 pm. All ticket holders are invited to attend the Concert Previews, which are informal lectures/discussions and focus on the evening’s composers and musical selections. Open seating for the Preview is in the orchestra section of the theater. The Preview lasts approximately thirty minutes, allowing adequate time to locate your concert seat before the performance begins.
Parking
Parking costs $8 in the lots adjacent to the concert venues. Subscribers may purchase discounted season parking passes. Parking lot entrances are off Seaside Way; from Shoreline Drive, turn onto Pine Avenue, then right onto Seaside Way. From Ocean Boulevard, turn onto Pine Avenue, then left onto Seaside Way. Follow any posted or illuminated signs.
Late Seating
Latecomers will be seated during appropriate pauses at the discretion of the management.
Restrooms are located behind the staircases on the orchestra level and on both sides of the loge and balcony levels. Drinking fountains are located on each level. Public telephones are next to the men’s restrooms on the orchestra level and on both sides of the loge and balcony levels.
Refreshments
Sandwiches, desserts, light snacks, and hot and cold beverages are available in the Terrace Theater lobby before the concert and at intermission. Intermission beverages may be pre-ordered from the full-service bar before the concert.
Please note that unlike our regular Symphony POPS! concerts at the Long Beach Arena, patrons for the Holiday Celebration concerts at the Terrace Theater are not permitted to bring food and beverages into the Terrace Theater.
Infrared Listening System
Headsets for the amplification of stage sound are available to all patrons. Use of headsets can be arranged in the Terrace Theater lobby before each concert.
If you leave your name and seat location at the Patron Services table located in the Terrace Theater lobby, you will be reached in an emergency. The emergency telephone number is (562) 436-3636
Pagers, Cell Phones, and Watch Alarms
As a courtesy to all patrons, please turn off your watch alarm, cell phone, and/or pager during the concert. In case of emergencies, you may leave your pager or cell phone (and seat location) at the Patron Services table located in the Terrace Theater lobby and you will be notified immediately if you receive a call.
Photographic & Recording Equipment
The use of video, photographic, and recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout the Terrace Theater.
